Return, Cancellation & Refund Policy

1.1 Scope

This policy applies to orders of fresh vegetables and fruits placed via Digi Rythu Bazar’s web or mobile applications, in compliance with:

  • Consumer Protection Act, 2019
  • Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020
  • Food Safety and Standards Act (FSSAI)
  • Legal Metrology Rules

1.2 Cancellation Policy

a) Customer-Initiated Cancellation (Before Dispatch)
Customers may cancel orders before dispatch through the “Cancel Order” option or customer support.

b) Cancellation After Dispatch
Orders for perishable goods cannot be cancelled once dispatched due to their nature.

c) Cancellation by Digi Rythu Bazar
Orders may be cancelled due to non-availability, quality issues, logistic constraints, or payment/security concerns. Full refunds are issued.

1.3 Return & Replacement Policy

a) Non-Returnable Items
Perishable goods such as vegetables and fruits are not returnable once delivered, except for valid quality issues.

b) Eligible Cases

  • Damaged or spoiled items
  • Wrong product or quantity delivered
  • Items unfit for consumption

c) Reporting Window
Issues must be reported within 4–24 hours of delivery with clear photo/video evidence.

1.4 Refund Policy

Refunds are processed through the original payment method or via bank transfer/store credit for COD orders.
Refund timelines: 3–7 business days.
Partially defective orders receive partial refunds.

1.5 Customer Responsibilities

Customers must inspect deliveries promptly and report concerns within the allowed window.

1.6 Governing Law & Jurisdiction

Subject to the laws of India. Jurisdiction: Andhra Pradesh.
